Colasacco Targets Top 3

Masters Class points leader Joe Colasacco is targeting another three Masters Class wins, but also wants to land on the overall podium in his Auriana Racing Van Diemen.

"Mid Ohio is a technical track and you need to show patience for most of the corners. It's not a track you want to attack," he said. "And with three races on Saturday, there is no time for major repairs. You need to stay out of trouble."

Yuven Sundaramoorthy is marking his first year racing cars with a full-season effort for Kris Kaiser's K-Hill Motorsports.

Sundaramoorthy has never been to Mid-Ohio, and is preparing via track notes and YouTube videos. VIR was a good start for the aspiring racer, with a pole position and two fourth-place finishes, as well as the fastest lap in the third race.

"As for Mid-Ohio, it's tough, the grip level changes every session. Chasing car set up will be key this weekend."

Mid-Ohio will be a familiar setting for David Osborne, as he returns to a race track he has some experience at, and is coming off his junior year college finals at Miami University where he is studying biomedical engineering.

"After getting unlucky on the last laps of the VIR races, I am looking to find myself on the podium at Mid-Ohio," Osborn said. "To me, a successful weekend would be to have clean racing at the front of the field and fight for the win. I know Team Pelfrey will again put me on a fast car capable of being at the front so
